MannTek couplings cater to industries where the loss of product poses significant risks to both business and the environment. IFC can install the full range of MannTek couplings, utilised for both loading and unloading hoses. As well as loading arms.
MannTek Dry Disconnect Couplings enable quick and spill-free connection and disconnection of hoses and pipelines. Producers of petroleum, chemicals, ink, adhesives, fatty acids, pharmaceuticals, liquid soaps, and a wide variety of caustic products and specialty acids utilise them. Dry Disconnect Couplings are found in many applications, from the handling of toxic chemicals, fuels etc, to the transferring of clean water. Due to the wide range of materials, connections, and sealing types, Dry Disconnect Couplings are flexible enough to suit almost any application.
MannTek Safety Break couplings, also known as breakaway couplings, prevent pull-away accidents. This is where vehicles pull away from loading points with the loading equipment still connected causing an accidental disconnection. The safety breaks prevent the resulting release of often hazardous substances. They also prevent damage to the loading and metering equipment, the vehicle and surrounding environment making these environmentally friendly. They work by breaking at a pre-determined break load. Valves on both sides of the coupling will automatically close, preventing fluids escaping. Using a simple spring-loaded design, they provide a fast shut-off and are easy to reset and service on site.
The couplings are suitable for a wide range of substances. These include liquefied gases, chemicals and hydrocarbons, oil, petrochemicals, paints, and solvents. Many industry sectors such as marine, food processing, bulk fuel storage and loading use these couplings.
Below you will find all the key details for our range of MannTek Couplings. If you would like to discuss this in more detail, then please just get in touch. Because, we are always happy to help and answer any queries you may have.
Dry Disconnect Couplings are recommended for applications such as rail tankers, marine tankers, ISO containers, aviation fuel bunkering, and related activities. As well as any application where minimising product contamination and spillage is essential.
