Long Reach Supported Top Loading Arm

The TLA-201 long reach supported top loading arm is suitable for applications where a wide range of loading points need to be reached. It is reinforced with additional bracing on the primary arm. This provides support for additional equipment such as vapour cones, overfill sensors, pneumatic control and thermal insulation. It can be used for chemicals, petrochemicals, food stuffs, heated liquids, and many other products.

Our chemical top loading arms are fully spring balanced as standard, so they are easy to handle for all loading operations. Their robust, high-quality long reach design allows for maximum flexibility and provides a wide range of movement. The TLA-201 is a heavy duty loading arm, suitable for applications where additional support is needed.

Long Reach Supported Top Loading Arm
Features and benefits

  • Reinforced support and bearing to the primary arm allows for additional equipment including vapour cone, overfill sensor, actuated valve, thermal insulation and pneumatic control.
  • Spring balancing makes it easy to handle and manoeuvre by a single operator
  • Horizontal swivel joints allows the arm to extend out to their full range and fold away into a small parking envelope.
  • Vertical swivel joints allows the arm to move up and down within a set range.
  • The top loading arm is designed to suit specific liquids, with options including aluminium, carbon steel, stainless steel and PTFE lining.
  • Heated arms are available with thermal insulation and trace heating to maintain product at a constant temperature

Case Study
The Long Reach Supported Top Loading Arm in action

We recently completed a project for a large-scale Chemical Manufacturer, helping streamline their loading operations. They were looking at ways to reduce manual handling on site, as well as reduce hazards associated with manual handling of hoses. See our solutions here.
