MultiLev access platforms are ideal for situations where your tankers may have limited access or no catwalk fitted, because they comprise of a loading platform with flip up panels to expose the tanker man way area for access and loading. In addition, In addition, we can fit our MultiLev safety cage to your existing gantries or install them with their own support columns. They conform to the latest Health and Safety Working at Height Regulations and provide a flexible option for tanker loading and other at height activities such as inspection and cleaning. So, you have a safe and lasting answer to your tanker fall prevention requirements.

Features and benefits

The MultiLev offers the highest level of fall prevention by eliminating the need to work on top of the tanker at all. The lightweight GRP grating floor ensures non-slip traction, even in icy weather conditions. Additionally, the floor panels are designed to be lifted by hand, providing access to the tanker for loading, unloading, and inspections. When raised, the panels latch into place and give workers a safe environment in which to operate. When using a MultiLev system, there is no requirement to wear fall arrest harnesses due to the full enclosure of the cage. Our FlowStep folding stairs provide access to the platform from the fixed gantry. Hydraulic power drives both the stairs and the cage, ensuring optimal support and precise control while positioning the platform

Description

  • A loading platform with flip up panels to expose the tanker manway area for access & loading.
  • You can fit them to your existing gantries or install them with their own support columns.
  • Users access the platform from the fixed gantry via our FlowStep folding stairs. Hydraulic power operates the stairs and cage, ensuring optimal support and precise control when moving the platform into position.

  • The floor is made from a lightweight GRP grating that remains non-slip even in icy weather.

Dimensions

  • Main deck area: 1600mm x 1600mm, height less than 4.0mtr for a single flight of steps
  • Access stair width: 750mm inside dimension
  • Handrail height: 1050mm
  • Step riser: 220mm

Variations for the LP1600

  • Higher platforms up to 6m, platforms over 4m high require an intermediate platform halfway up the access steps
  • We can fit 800mm wide folding stairs to any of the 3 spare platform sides
  • We can supply and install top loading arms and other equipment
  • Larger platforms for 2600mm wide folding stairs, dual support columns and angled access steps available
  • IFC Inflow also design and install full length gantries fitted with a range of tanker equipment including sliding and wide folding stair options
